Press Release
Bonita Springs, FL (September 17th, 2019) – Atilus, a leading full-service web development and digital marketing firm, will be celebrating its 14-year anniversary on September 21, 2019. Founded in 2005 by owner and CEO Harry Casimir while he was still a student at Florida Gulf Coast University, Atilus has grown from a small freelance operation into a prominent player in the digital landscape.
Originally named “Unique ID Web Design,” the company was rebranded to “Atilus” in 2007, in honor of Casimir’s grandfather. What began as a side project has evolved into a comprehensive digital agency offering services such as web design, web development, digital marketing, ADA website compliance, and web hosting.
The company, which began in Casimir’s apartment in Bonita Springs, has expanded to its own commercial space and now employs 8 full-time staff members, many of whom are also FGCU graduates. Each team member brings specialized expertise, contributing to the agency’s success across various facets of digital services. Atilus’ client base spans from local businesses in Southwest Florida to companies nationwide across diverse industries.
“Reflecting on our 14 years, we’re amazed at how far we’ve come. Our growth is a testament to the incredible support we’ve received from our clients, partners, and the community. We look forward to continuing to serve and innovate in the digital space,” says Casimir. “Our deepest gratitude goes to everyone who has been part of our journey—our clients, partners, friends, and especially our dedicated team.”
Atilus is deeply committed to community involvement, frequently participating in local events and charity sponsorships. The company maintains strong ties to Florida Gulf Coast University, actively contributing to its community through various initiatives and engagements. Owner and CEO Harry Casimir serves on the FGCU Foundation Board of Directors and is also a member of the Committee on Cybersecurity for Executive Education at the University of South Florida. Kristen Bachmeier, the Director of Operations, is a member of the Marketing Advisory Board for the Lutgert College of Business and regularly returns to the FGCU campus to mentor students.
In celebration of this milestone, Atilus is planning several new projects and community initiatives aimed at furthering its mission to support local businesses and drive digital innovation. With a portfolio of over 1,500 completed projects, Atilus continues to serve clients across the country with dedication and expertise. For more information, visit www.atilus.com.
