Atilus

Unique ID Web Design, LLC is now officially Atilus, LLC.

First a little background. Unique ID, now Atilus, was started in late 2005 by Harry Casimir and me while we were both working at a local marketing agency as web developers and attending FGCU as full time students.

The company started slowly two years ago as a side project. Harry and I were being asked to develop sites and implement online marketing for friends, family, and business associates. It was a great outlet for our passion quality web development and Internet marketing and we were using our skills to positively impact local businesses. Through word-of-mouth the business started to grow rapidly. After a little more than a year, we couldn’t contain the work we had to make a decision – quit our day jobs or say good bye to our growing client base. So we took the plunge.

Since then not much has changed; word-of-mouth continues to be the biggest way we attract new clients. 2007 was an incredible year of growth; we exanded over 500% and diversified our client base. Atilus, now has clients established throughout the United States, from California to New York.

So it is because of this growth and because of our future plans that we have changed our name to Atilus. The announcement was first made in our feature in Florida-Weekly. Atilus tested well among all of you. We started slowly. I remember asking one of our oldest clients what they thought of the name Atilus:

“For a child’s name? It’s terrible.”

Joking aside we are very proud of the new name. We believe the new name will allow us to grow into new areas while at the same time allows us to pay homage to everyone that made this dream possible. Atilus is Harry’s grandfather’s name.

So what will be changing? Not much!

Atilus will continue to provide the same dedication to quality web development and Internet marketing the company was founded on. Atilus will continue to conduct business by the same ethics and produce the same quality work that Unique ID Web Design has become synonymous with. Atilus will continue to help your business set and reach your goals on the web comfortably and efficiently.
