Small Business Advertising – AdWords Express

Author: Valerie Baker

I was on a call the other day with the owner and creator of one of the web’s premier advertising platforms. The conversation bounced around, but one thing we touched on was the problem of online advertising.

The truth is – for most small businesses, it’s still too damn complicated!

Even though it really needn’t be  – and that’s what you’ve been promised isn’t it?

AdWords is Insanely Powerful (and complicated)

AdWords in particular is one of the most amazing tools ever created in Advertising/Marketing. The ability to instantly get in front of users as they ask for your product/service, at the EXACT moment when they need you most – is incredible.

And Google has monetized every word or combination of letters/numbers that will EVER be combined… EVER.

But, this power is sometimes out of reach for many small businesses. Atilus, in fact, has made quite a bit of money by managing ad accounts on behalf of our clients (and made quite a bit of money for our clients), although many times, a business is too small, or their concentration too specific for both of us to work together. But, AdWords is complicated, how is a business owner to get on search engines without hiring another company (and incurring costs that many times – should just go direct to the advertising/marketing – and not the management).

And that’s why Google has released “AdWords Express“.  Here’s a quick video demonstration:

Google AdWords Express

Available for sometime in the US – and finally launched in the UK – it’s a very simplified version of AdWords that any business, but particularly local small businesses – can benefit from.

As long as you have a good website (and sometimes, even if you don’t) there is (usually) no better advertising/marketing investment than AdWords.

So that’s it, just a short little post to reveal what I believe to be, a problem in Internet advertising, and a helpful solution for our audience that Google provides – Google AdWords Express.
