Southwest Florida Economic Development Alliance
Atilus, the Bonita Springs-based web design and Internet marketing company has been presented with the potential to design the Southwest Florida Economic Development Alliances’ website. We are tremendously appreciative to those that put our name out on the line. It would be an honor to support the growth and development of a nonprofit that shares the same focus of improving the community that surrounds us; that welcomes and encourages growth and expansion.
What is the Southwest Florida Economic Development Alliance?
According to a recent article from Naples News, The Southwest Florida Economic Development Alliance was created with a mission to promote the region and diversify the local economy. The Alliance provides community connections to address regional economic issues. The Business Observer stated in a recent article, the Alliance was formed to give the region a greater voice in recruiting industry and jobs to the area by pooling resources. Southwest Florida is the only populous region of the state without such an effort.
The alliance is a nonprofit, public-private partnership that sought Southwest Florida’s attractive business climate. The attractive Southwest Florida climate has drawn many global fortune-type companies like Hertz and Gartner. The five counties of Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry, and Glades comprise 1.2 million residents, and a workforce of over 500,000, great statistics for attracting and retaining businesses. Check out the key benefits which makes Southwest Florida attractive to global companies.
